What the project involved

Shenyang Metro Line 3 stations

Each station is covered by a run of shaped steel frames that span the tracks and platforms, tied together by purlins.

Station steel like this goes up while track and platform work carries on around it. The photos show the frames standing over laid track, with purlins being fixed from boom lifts.

Why it matters to a buyer

For buyers comparing quotes

Before a tier-1 contractor buys from a fabricator, its engineers audit the plant: qualifications, equipment, welding, material traceability, coating and delivery.

This contract is one of four signed contracts with China’s tier-1 contractors that we show. The others are with Baosteel Steel Structure, China Railway Construction and China Railway Group.
